Join a Professional and Agile Security Team!

Location:
This position is primarily for sites in Hickory, NC. Preference will be given to candidates willing to work in the surrounding areas as needed.

Hours:
Shifts vary based on availability and assignment, often taking place in the evening or overnight, with a focus on Fridays and Saturdays (though not always).

Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Our sites are dynamic and often busy, requiring guards to interact regularly with clients, the public, and site visitors. This is a customer-facing role that blends vigilance with approachability and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Protect property and assets from theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems for security threats
• Perform security checks on doors, windows, and gates
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activity
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
• Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors or employees as needed

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check (required for state security guard registration)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required for state registration)
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation highly recommended
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in security or loss prevention preferred but not required
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is a plus
